Hello there!
My name is Emma Mulholland and I’m the new addition to the Christian Michaels digital marketing team here in Manchester. As a recent English Literature graduate from the University of Manchester, I’ve spent three years refining my literacy proficiency and writing skills so now I’m here in my first graduate role as a social media and content marketing executive.
Why I've chosen marketing During my time at University, I undertook various work placements and held a number of positions of responsibility for student-run organisations: all of which had a focus on content writing, content marketing and social media management. As much of my time was spent engaging with others both online and in person through my work with various University societies, my passion for marketing began with a realisation that a people-driven, communicative job was right for me.
Likewise, as demonstrating creativity and originality was an integral part of my degree, I have a passion for roles that allow me to apply my creative faculties and take a unique perspective on things. Now, through my role at this digital marketing agency, I am able to combine my love of writing and my love of working with people so I’m really excited about joining the team.
What's next for me Now that I’m moving on from my student ties to Fallowfield and settling into professional life at our lovely Didsbury office, I hope to spend my time continuing to deliver engaging, educative and appealing content for our clients and work with them to develop the most effective social media strategies for their online platforms. I also hope that this is the start of a long and fruitful career path in content marketing/social media management and I look forward to meeting you along the way.
