Media City

The Manchester Evening New has recently published an article stating ‘Manchester will be a bigger success story than London’, and though they may be slightly biased, so are we, and we’re inclined to agree! Manchester has a rich history of industry and innovation, once home of the world’s cotton market and first railway station, Manchester was truly at the forefront of Britain’s industrial revolution. Manchester has continued to develop and is now the very heart of the northern economy. We are proud to do business in the historic city, and strive to add to its growing economy through our own creative means.

So is there a ‘Northern Powerhouse’?

The term ‘Northern Powerhouse’ is banded around rather frequently, and though many regions in the North aren’t quite developing as intended, Manchester certainly is. Manchester has a predicted growth of 2.4% over the next two years, whilst London’s economy is expected to only grow by 2.2%, 1-0 to the North! There has been a huge investment into Manchester’s airport, which is already one of the busiest in the country, trust us we’re right next to it! Furthermore, with Hs2 coming to Manchester in the near future, our city is going to be more accessible than ever; inviting new business and encouraging wealth creation, jobs and new builds. Indeed this investment and growth has been reflected in Manchester’s commercial property, as over 1.5million square feet of office spaces are being developed in the city. Manchester is certainly on the up.

What Makes Manchester Manchester?

There is a real effort through investment to put Manchester on the international stage, however, throughout its rich cultural and industrial history Manchester is already a fixture on the globe. Manchester boasts two of Europe’s most elite football clubs, which gives Manchester a fantastic international exposure and presence, whilst also attracting wealth through foreign investment. We aren’t just known for our football, but our music too. Manchester’s musical history is simply second to none in the UK, with some of the greatest bands in history once playing in the small bars and clubs of our locality. To reflect the Manc love for music, the city boasts a great variety of nightlife hotspots too; we have the Northern Quarter for the hipsters, Spinningfields for the suit-wearing cigar wielders and Printworks for, well we don’t really know who that’s for. Manchester has placed its marker on the map through its outstanding cultural and societal growth, represented in its diverse population and richness of traditions.

Where are We Amongst This?

We have been doing our thing for nearly six years now and there couldn’t have been a better location than Manchester to operate in. We have been fortunate enough to work for and alongside a plethora of clients from all manner of industries; indeed the depth of our clients and their fields truly represents the versatility in Manchester’s economy.

A few words from Christian:

'Over the last six years, Manchester’s digital industry has grown exponentially, putting Manchester firmly on the map as the UK’S number 1 digital hub. Although this rise has seen many reputable companies make their mark, it has of course facilitated those cowboys out to make a quick buck, making it difficult to know who to trust and work with. We classify ourselves amongst the reputable bunch, working on a client-satisfaction basis. We’re here to establish ourselves in Manchester, operating with the objective of longevity and quality.'

Within our city’s economy the digital and creative sector has always been a strong feature and indeed this creativity and innovation reflects the very character of Manchester - forward thinking, creative and bold. We are proud to be actively contributing to our city’s economy and are excited to continue to do so reflecting Manchester’s unique style, history and ethos. In the immortal words of Tony Wilson, ‘This is Manchester, we do things differently here’.
